kitchen updates

We had another meeting with our kitchen designer today, and I have to say, I'm totally amped!  I love how this kitchen is coming together piece by piece.  I've been struggling to see the finished product as we make design decisions, but today we got a glimpse of the big picture.

We're going with natural hickory cabinets, and today we picked our counter tops.  They're a beautiful blend of golden, taupe, and light cream tones.  I'm in love!

I think we're going to paint the kitchen a grey-blue tone, something similar to SW Copen Blue.  It looked great with the mix of the natural oak flooring and hickory cabinets.

Our appliances are stainless, and today we picked out an amazing, huge, single basin stainless sink.  Woohoo!  R got me this faucet for Christmas.  It's got Delta's Touch2O technology, which means you can just tap it turn it on and off.

I can't wait!  Next up, finalizing paint colors, flooring, and cabinet hardware.
