Remember the before? These are right from the store, with yellow-tinted trim and white primed doors.
...keep reading! more pics!
We're excited, especially since we've been wanting to do this from the very beginning. We did get a quote to have to painted in an auto body shop, but ended up doing the work ourselves. Having them professionally sprayed may have been better quality, but I think they turned out beautifully. The color is Heritage Green, Menards looked it up to match the shutters of the same name.
Here's our lovely temporary set up while the paint dried. The cats were loving having free reign for a few days. We didn't see a whole lot of them.
Finally, our finished doors! I love them. I was nervous the front door was going to feel too dark (we painted the interior side the same color), but it work out nicely. I have a new improved fall wreath ready to hang, but I'm not ready yet. I want to enjoy these last few green days before the colors start changing.
We've been talking about staining the concrete porch, something like a rusty red/green mix that ends up resembling copper. Eventually I want to add porch railing, too. Someday! :)
