Despite our mudpit of a front yard, interior work is going on strong. My latest favorite is our bathtub. Here are a few pictures before tile went in.
Here are a few shots of the first day's tile work.
And the real reason we're all here... picture with the tile and grout work complete. We had 3 rows added up the wall, and if you're really observant, you can see the plumber was hard at work, too. We now have a vanity, faucet, and toilet. All we need now is running water! :) ![Building on Love - Marble Tub Surround Building on Love - Marble Tub Surround](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCrqCYub44s-zFYzZrRvMl8w08AkwDCUs2XeY8p17154MspXselWSlTtT1xGJNMCTwIUYjjXDx7COKGS-hlIOG3sO99zRK555o6ViDwOmH__Fbptab07P2QKGD5wTtNcmGIYHBkGinkk8/s1600/IMG_4685.JPG)

In case you're interested- we used polished marble subway tile, from Lowes. There was quite a bit of variation from box to box, so our tile installer made sure to open a few boxes and mix and match the colors. He did a wonderful job creating this variation in shades ranging from stark white to a very dark gray.
