crown molding

As promised, we woke up to a very white April morning.  We got quite of bit of heavy heavy very wet snow.  Looks like about 3-4 inches in our backyard.  I'll admit, I'm a little bummed.  But, a few times this morning, I've caught myself subconsiously thinking Christmas was coming.  Haha!  That's never a bad feeling.

Today's post is all about our kitchen.  We still don't have appliances, counters, or hardware... but we do have crown molding.

An awesome bonus for me- LED under cabinet lighting.  Building a house with an electrician has so many perks!  :)

I'm very happy with how the paint color looks against these cabinets.  To be honest, the hickory came in much lighter than I had anticipated.  But, I love it!  We eventually would like to install a tile backsplash.  Any color recommendations?  I'm at a loss... but maybe it'll come together when we have countertops.
