we're home!

Hi!  I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July.  We got to spend tons of time with friends and watched fireworks over the lake.  Couldn't ask for anything better!  Otherwise we've been working like crazy moving in.  We have started hanging pictures and curtain rods, so we're approaching the final stretch.

The house is starting to feel like home, and it's ahh-mazing!  The appliances are wonderful (I kind of like cleaning now!) and the woods are beautiful.  People keep asking me how I like it, and I can't find the right words to explain how much I LOVE it!  I just got a phone call from R's Mama telling me that we have new baby birds that must have just hatched today! :)  The nest is in a little bush, so we're not sure what they are yet.  Something bigger than hummingbirds, but smaller than robins.  Yayy!

My latest purchase- a sink grid.  I noticed some minor scratches in our sink after only a few weeks, so I found this puppy online.  So far, it's been great!  Still loving the single basin; no regrets {not even 1 letter}.

I just got this rug in the mail today, so don't mind the hand weights.  It's going to need a few days before it'll lay flat.

Moving down the hall to the bedrooms... we haven't gotten to hanging pictures on this end of the house yet.  But, wanted to share anyway.  Starting with our bedroom:

This is the splare spare bedroom.  I'm on the hunt for a headboard, and a curtain rod.

A peek at my office.  The desk is just out of the frame on the left.  It's a disaster area currently.  

Bathrooms, including the luxourious new shower heads R installed.  They are both suuper nice, and I can't pick a favorite shower.
